Trend Vision One Virtual Network Sensor is an advanced Network Detection & Response (NDR) component within the Trend Vision One platform by Trend Micro, delivering deep network visibility and threat detection in virtualized environments.

Deployed passively within the network, the virtual sensor monitors East-West and North-South traffic in real time. By leveraging behavioral analytics, machine learning, and global threat intelligence, it detects suspicious communications, lateral movement, command-and-control (C&C) activity, and unknown attack techniques.

Designed for VMware and virtual data center environments, the solution requires no physical hardware and integrates seamlessly with Trend Vision One XDR. It correlates network telemetry with endpoint, email, server, and cloud signals through a single unified console, enabling SOC teams to investigate and respond to threats faster and more effectively.
